You will stay in the beautiful Ardeen House. It was built in 1845 and is a period country home situated in its own grounds on the edge of Ramelton overlooking Lough Swilly.

Here you will have breakfast, make your own lunch packets and relax after your walks.
 

In the evening we will eat in a local restaurant, renowned for its fish.
Attached to the restaurant is a bar where good music is often to be heard.
 
 
 
 
Travel
You should arrive in Ramelton by late afternoon to settle into your accommodation and to have a short walk around the village.
Afterwards we’ll have our meal in a local restaurant.

Ramelton is about 5 miles from Letterkenny and driving time from Dublin is around four and a half hours.

There are very good bus services to Letterkenny from Dublin, Galway and Belfast.
If you come by bus we’ll meet you and take you to your accommodation in Ramelton.
